A handsomely proportioned vintage with a chunkiness/density to its dark chocolate, warm earth, cherry, berry and concentrated cassis.
Colour A gorgeous crimson purple red colour ensues as you pour the glass.
Nose There is a complexity that evolves from an interaction of a range of aromas. This is whilst also exuding luscious fruit driven features in a persistent, distinct, deep and concentrated manner, whilst still maintaining a regalness.
Taste Smooth fine and silky tannins support the fruit. An ample bodied but still very young wine with ripe mouth filling blackcurrant and deep red cherry flavours. A good balance between fruit, acid and oak ensues. There are also some tea leaf, tobacco and coffee essences on the palate.
