Glenrothes 1968 Extraordinary Cask

Only 145 bottles were produced

The hallmarks of The Glenrothes are quality and purity - evident in the beautifully-balanced, elegant and well-mannered single malt, and perfectly expressed by this Extraordinary Single Cask bottling. Here, the second-fill remade hogshead cask was filled on the 19th November 1968, yielding just 145 bottles at a natural strength of 41.9% alcohol by volume. This expression is unchillfiltered and, like all Glenrothes' bottlings, of completely natural colour. The whisky comes in a hand-blown Portuguese crystal decanter with a stopper that includes wood from Cask #13507.
